During the Spring of 2005 I was employed at Diamond of California for my first engineering internship. During this time a new walnut roasting line was being proposed. The product was for McDonalds' new salad, and at the time the contract with them had not been approved. I was asked to create a representation of the proposed line to show at the marketing meeting with McDonalds to "wow" them with a show of what we could do. I created this model of the preliminary line over the course of a day and produced a large rendered image to be printed on a D-ize sheet. Below are some of shots of the line.
