Intake Manifold Concept II
Project Description
The second intake manifold system I came up with had a little more design behind it. The plenum was sized to nearly the exact same volume as the engine's diaplacement, and the runners' length & crossection tuned for maximum efficiency at 5600RPM. The tuning was done using some basic Helmholtz resonance principles. Running an FE analysis would likely yield results at whether or not the design would do what it was designed for.
